Health has staff certified by the State to inspect tanning salons. For information on obtaining a tanning

Lead Paint Testing -
If you need to have paint in your
home tested for lead, the Boone County Health Department can test paint
chips. You may bring paint chips in to
our office and they can be tested at $5.00 per paint chip sample OR an onsite inspection can be done by
our Health Inspector for $50.00 – this includes six (6) paint chip
samples. More paint chips can be tested
onsite for $5.00 each. For more
