Administrator
The Boone County Board of Health in Belvidere, Illinois,
is accepting applications for a qualified Public Health Administrator to head
the Boone County Department of Public Health. To be considered, candidates must
have:
1) A master’s degree in public health and two years of
full-time administrative experience in public health, or; 2) A graduate degree
in a related field, and two years of full-time administrative experience in
public health, or; 3) A bachelor’s degree and four years of full-time
administrative experience, of which at least two years must be in public

Family Planning Coordinator
The Boone County Health Department is
seeking a part-time (30 hours per week) public health nurse to serve as
the Family Planning Coordinator in the Family Planning Program.
Duties include: counseling and assisting clients in need of
family planning services, performing nursing functions during family
planning clinics under the direction of medical provider and assisting
with appointments and billing. Must be a registered nurse licensed to
practice in Illinois. Excellent working environment, competitive
pay and outstanding benefit package. No weekends or evenings.
